In an accessible but not watered-down style learn about the 4 most essential historic components to the Christian Faith. C. Michael Patton, Th.M. and Tim Kimberley, Th.M. teach this highly illustrated Boot Camp helping to better grasp the grandeur of our great God.

Topics in this Boot Camp include:
Session #1 focuses on understanding the Trinity culminating in a study of the Council of Nicea. Session #2 looks at the amazing event of God becoming a man in the person of Jesus. In Session #3 we interact with the question, “After being copied over thousands of years can the Bible still be accurate?” Session #4 then wraps up the 4-week study with a biblically grounded view of Mankind.

We’ve traveled all over the U.S. teaching private Boot Camps at churches. A Saturday morning works out great to focus your church on these great topics of our great God. You can email us or please call us for more information about hosting your own Boot Camp: 405-748-4288.

just listening to this for the first time – Wonderful; Love it!
@ about 30:00 – while discussing Tritheism and the pie example it was stated that the trouble with this view is that “They are not each other” (as in being 3 separate pieces of the pie) that they are not sharing in the exact same essence.
But it is true that the Father is not the Son. The Son is not the H.S. The HS is neither the Father nor the Son, yet all are God.
This may be a quibble or just my misunderstanding of what you are saying… but I think that their separateness as individual persons need not be lost here.

I am just beginning so maybe this is something that becomes clearer as the lessons progress. I’ll probably send more comments as this progresses.
    Thanks again. Anita

okay – so my next query? The final diagram is not great for young children. I have seen many Sunday School and other lessons use the egg and water examples. Any ideas for explaining, as much as is possible, to children the Trinity?
What about the idea of people being body, soul, spirit… yet just one person? Not great because each can be divided from the other. Body can definitely be separated from soul and spirit. Hhmmm…. needs to be pondered but I have been doing that for years already!
