Course Description

Summary: A philosophical exploration of the Christian worldview and biblical narrative (God, creation, fall, redemption, and re-creation), discussing such subjects as the coherence of God’s existence/attributes and arguments for His existence, miracles, evil, and immortality.  This course also examines other Christian doctrines not often discussed—original sin, divine hiddenness, hell, the Trinity and Incarnation, and issues of faith, hope, and doubt—all discussed with much interaction with the biblical text.

Questions discussed:
If God made the universe, who made God?
What is a Christian worldview?
How can a good and all powerful God allow evil?
How can we be free and God be in control?
If we are finite and God is infinite, how can we talk about God without misrepresenting Him?
