More than 60 percent of Americans in a new Gallup poll believe abortion should be illegal in most circumstances, a six-year high that puts them at odds with Supreme Court decisions that legalized abortion for virtually any reason.

Sixty-one percent of U.S. adults say abortion should be illegal in all circumstances or legal in only a few circumstances, compared to 37 percent who say abortion should be legal in all or most circumstances. 1. Joseph says:

Recognizing that abortion is a serious moral issue in the eyes of most Christians, though it is no different than dishonoring your mother and father in the eyes of the Law, I would like to go to the heart of the matter: Salvation. Though I do disagree with the act, I can see a pro-choice stance as an act of faith that we as Christians would go into these abortion clinics and be the ministers of Christ that we were called to be. For, while it is in the light of day (on the political stage), we as believers are tracking it. We are concerned about it. We, for the most part, disagree with it. But, how many of us are dealing with it in a Christ-like manner? Do we need to blow up abortion clinics? Do we need to spit on women as they enter or exit clinics? Are we vipers of Satan or children of God? “He who is without sin among you, let him be the firts to throw a stone at her.” John 8:7 (NASB) Who is truly killing off innocent children? Hear the call to service! We have an opportunity to save lives and spread the Gospel here, now, in these clinics. If we truly believe abortion is wrong, then we should be talking to these women and giving them good council. We should be loving them just as God loved us in Jesus. This is our time to shine as God’s children. Be the light of the world and have mercy, for God has had mercy on us in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Among the first principles of logic are the law of non-contradiction [...] continue reading
