different than relationship with any other person, but it can be just as real real in its own way,
however.

Tenth, the glory of God is the end of human life, not human satisfaction, or charting
ones own course, or human attainment. If its not all about me, but it is all about God, then we
ask humbly how we fit into his wise and glorious plan rather than refashioning God to fit better
into the kind of life we might wish to design for ourselves to live. Humbly accepting what God
has designed, and being at peace with this as good, wise, and glorious, allows us to submit to
God and, at the same time, to be free to be exactly who God has made us to be.
Conclusion

A number of models of divine-human relationship are proposed today. The most recent
innovation of open theism by Greg Boyd, utilizing his "neo-Molinism" to account for a
significant part of how God works and relates with us, falters on its own terms, it seems to me.
What I have done, then, is merely sketch ten elements which I suggest must be brought together
for a biblical, coherent, and workable model of divine-human relatedness. Much more is needed,
but it seems each of these elements contributes something both essential and useful. May God
grant continued humility before him and his word that we may understand more clearly and
accurately the design he has made for our relationship with him.
