Theological Portal to the Web

Comments 2 Comments

Not sure if you have had a chance to download it yet, but I have created a theological toolbar that acts as a portal to the web. It has, what I consider to be, the best Bible sites, blogs, podcasts, and resources that have great integrity. It is much better than a random Google search!

It is one of the most popular toolbars that has been built through the Conduit platform. So much so that they want me to do a commercial ad!

Anyway, it is very clean and easy to install. If you don’t like it, uninstall it.

Here is the link: http://reclaimingthemind.ourtoolbar.com/

Have fun and let me know if you have any suggestions.

Oh, and spread the word!

A great tool indeed; only one draw back that I personally experience, time consuming. One can get caught up in what everyone else is doing, the numerous blog sites, not counting the exponential responses to the OP. And perhaps to much time taken away from personal study, aka, opening the bible and let it speak to you rather than some one else planting a thought or idea and then searching the specific portions of the bible for confirmation.
Other than that , I great idea with a well spring of material for all people and generations

Can I suggest a link for consideration? It is a syndicated blog, an aggregator of several (~6, yes mine is one :) ) theological blogs from New Zealand. It has a few new links per day. Theology Geek NZ

Blog Rules

Please adhere to the following rules to prevent banishment to Siberia (no offense to our Siberian visitors):

  • Do not use the blog to promote yourself, as your surrogate blog, or as an advertisement. I am sure you are interesting and have some really nice things to say, but you can get your own blog.
  • Do not call authors out for debate. You must count the cost (Lk. 14:31). You don’t want to get whipped up on anyway.
  • Keep your comments short. Like when your comments are longer than the blog, that is too long.
  • Read All 6 Rules

Theological Word of the Day

Eastern Orthodoxy
A tradition in Christianity that claims to represent the church the most faithfully due to its adherence to the traditions, beliefs, and practices of the early church. Though many would see the Eastern Orthodox church as simply “Catholicism without a Pope,” the Orthodox would reject such a simplified identification. Not only do they not have [...] continue reading
