Is there a link to the article that Dan Wallace said he would post on "the nature of these textual variants in some detail"?

I am a nube at best!

Suppose we found 3 Dr. Seuss manuscripts and found these variations: "I am Sam", "Sam am I", and "Sam I am". How many variants are there? Yet, the meaning has not changed.
(We could muddy the water more by finding another manuscript with a comma: "I am, Sam." Oh, oh! Another manuscript was found: "Sam, I am.")

Where WOULD one go to find discussions of the variants and whether they really do pose a problem for Evangelicals? (Bart Ehrman?!)

Thanks Dr. Wallace, I appreciate the insight and am looking forward to finding out more concerning this matter. Textual Criticism is a new adventure for me, is there any good sound books that cover this discipline? I am in total agreement, we most definitely do not need to latch on to some spurious ‘fact’, so thanks once again, and please keep us informed so that we can respectfully represent God's word and His kingdom.

ooops, I see I errored already. I meant to cite John 6:4 about Jesus and the passover. If that admission is correct, there could not be a 70 week ministry or three days and three nights in the belly of the earth.

I will paste the verse to especially be sure I got the error in question right in here:

Joh 6:4 Now the Passover, the feast of the Jews, was at hand.

And, as an adjunct to your article I will share something that reflects what I believe is the intent of this article?

I use to deal in commodities with foreign governments.

On one such transaction I handled, utilizing this foreign government's U.S. bank accounts, by the means of a legal document, an irrevocably "confirmed" Letter of Credit, an LC was developed by CitiCorp. During the iteration and the reiteration of this credit instrument there were several miss spelled words and commas in the wrong places etc. etc..

In the reiteration submitted we were notified by CitiCorp that all "corrections" to the original iteration would cost us a $45.00 fee per correction. Seeing there was nothing materially different with the errors on the four corners of the page to cause us to change the wording of the contract, this irrevocably confirmed Letter of Credit, and that the amount of errors mounted to several hundred dollars in correction fees, we let their original document stand and we got paid according to an agreement that, as long as the replicated official copies included the original text with the "original errors" unchanged, so that nothing changed their iteration, the document would have legal force and could be used to conclude the transaction. We didn't change the error filled LC. We exercised it and were well paid from CitiCorp/Foreign Government's U.S. dollar account.

It seems to me this is the same simple prinicple being applied between God and man who He has given the writing to accurately iterate His thoughts and intents, except for those two stone tablets Moses broke to pieces that God Himself wrote on! Oh if those fragments were found, those fragments of those stone tablets would go for a lot of money at auction in this money hungry world of stupid idiots profiting on the Word of God and those errors cited above!

Can you respond to an error purported about John 6:3 in the count of 70 weeks for Jesus' ministry and the fact that both He and Jonah state quite clearly Jesus would spend 3 days and 3 nights in the belly of the earth before His resurrection?

Early codex do not have that verse. Only later versions do according to what I have learnt.

Am I in error?

thanks
