The time is now! You have considered it, feared it, and tested it, but now it is time to take the plunge. Enroll in The Theology Program today. Classes begin January 29.

The Theology Program is a six course program of historic, systematic, and apologetic theology (interpretation: what Christians believe and why). We will stretch you and challenge your presuppositions. You will get angry, cry, and laugh (in that order). You will come to a deeper understanding of the Christian faith and your conviction of its truth will be stronger than ever. We will take you apart and then put you back together. Then you will challenge me to a wrestling match.

This is a call for all of you to enroll in the online certificate program (NOT the self-study program–this is the varsity version!). There are four courses offered this semester. All newcomers MUST enroll in Introduction to Theology first.

Here you will watch an online video and then engage with the instructor and students from all over the world in a live voice room for ten straight weeks of theological boot camp. You will build relationships that you never thought you could. Do homework if you want a grade. Oh yes, and in the end, upon successful completion, you will receive a certificate.

Upon enrollment, we will call you and explain everything.

If you like the the way we do things on Parchment and Pen, you can’t miss these classes. Move beyond the typical self-help Christian education and begin to root yourself deeply, building a foundation that will not soon be destroyed.

Testimony from students:

I want to thank you personally and let you know how much you and your ministry have touched Chad’s life (and mine) spiritually. Being in the military has made it more difficult for us to grow with our church families these last four years because of all of the moving we have done. After each move it takes us a while to find a new church home that fits, etc.

You [Michael] and Reclaiming the Mind have been our rock in which we can rely on even when we are in the midst of packing, living in hotels, or in deployment. I have seen first hand what an impact you have had on my husband’s ability to share his faith with others around him. -TTP Student’s Wife

I want to comment about how exciting (yes, exciting) and educational the Theology program has been to me. I find the subjects you are covering to be exactly the questions I have always had but never thought of before I discovered the program.

I want to talk about the teachers because what I saw in them was a humility and a spirit of Christ as they explained other camp’s position. I am not a theologian but I am a Christian and want to tip my hat to the guys in your video. In a world where Christian’s at times act in unchristian ways when defending their theology, I found these men refreshing and inspiring.

Testimony from authors and scholars:

“If it is your desire to understand what you believe and why you believe it, then The Theology Program is for you. Here you will learn the basic principles of how to think biblically. TTP takes theology from the top shelf and places it where it belongs–where everyone can reach it.”

The Theology Program offers so much more to lay folks than they could get in any other forum. TTP challenges their thinking, rather than confirming their prejudices. And it does it in a way that is fair to all parties and faithful to the text of Holy Writ. If this kind of program could be multiplied in churches throughout America and the world, there would be hope for the evangelical church. Solid biblical and theological thinking are desperately needed in our circles today; without it, the evangelical church doesn’t have 50 years of life left. May our gracious and sovereign Lord raise up more folks who will become serious thinkers, people who will engage society and life from a thoroughly converted perspective.

I cannot overstate how thrilled I am with the training material in The Theology Program. For 25 years I have been laboring to call the church to love God with its mind, and wherever I go I am constantly asked for examples of local church curriculum that responds to this call with excellence. Well, look no further. The Theology Program is the best thing I have seen to date and recommend it with great excitement.

Every church ought to make use of The Theology Program or something like it. I commend it as a model of lay theological education and wish it good success in helping Christians to love God with all their minds.

Although I differ with The Theology Program on some issues, on the whole I think it is an excellent program and I commend it to students of theology. These are very difficult issues, and you’ve treated them thoroughly, fairly, and with considerable balance. You’ve mapped a careful path through this minefield! The teaching method is superb: wonderfully varied and practical as well as richly biblical. What you have here is the best thing I’ve ever seen for laymen in this area. I hope it gets wide distribution.
