Getting to know each other

Comments 10 Comments

Since we have so many people who not only frequent this blog, but also post, I thought it would be good for us to take an oppertunity to get familiar with each other. I know that these tests are not always acurate, but I did find this particular one helpful. It seems to ask the right questions. Anyway, here is my profile. Click on this link, take the test, get the code and then post yours in a response below so that we can see yours! It is really easy.

Notice, I am an “Orignator, Intellectual.” Oh yeah. I am telling my wife.

Help! I came out high on thinking but obviously I’m not too good at it. I wanted to post my results as you did but I can’t figure out how to do it. But the skinny is I am an Engineer/intellectual, highest bar on the left side was “thinking” and highest bar on the right side was “perceiving”. Lowest was “feelings”…yikes!

Nick, you are “Protector” as well! Didn’t you find the code to post this as a picture?

    Michael,

Didn’t know there was code to post it as a pic, but now that you mentioned it I found it. If this works then feel free to delete my first comment and just post this… If this doesn’t work then I am hopelessly lost :(

    1 minutes later…

Didn’t work!!! I’m guessing that you can’t post that particular html code in the comments section.

Oh, and thanks for pointing out that I’m a ‘protector’ as well :)

    This edit feature rocks!

By the way… Did you notice the Famous ISTJs? Bruce Wayne and Darth Vader — It doesn’t get better than that!!!

May the force be with you…

    Hi Michael,

You may want to change your spelling of opportunity as “oppertunity” ;-) Otherwise, your personality profile may not be justified in saying you’re “perceptive,” “thinking,” and an “intellectual.” But, given that spelling, it sure does seem that you are an “originator” lol jk

    Tony

p.s. Make sure to tell your wife about that spelling.

Blog Rules

Please adhere to the following rules to prevent banishment to Siberia (no offense to our Siberian visitors):

  • Do not use the blog to promote yourself, as your surrogate blog, or as an advertisement. I am sure you are interesting and have some really nice things to say, but you can get your own blog.
  • Do not call authors out for debate. You must count the cost (Lk. 14:31). You don’t want to get whipped up on anyway.
  • Keep your comments short. Like when your comments are longer than the blog, that is too long.
  • Read All 6 Rules

Theological Word of the Day

Molinism
Named after Luis de Molina, a 16th century Jesuit theologian, Molinism is a proposed reconciliation of the problems introduced in the tension between human freedom and divine sovereignty. Molinism seeks to retain both a true libertarian freedom without sacrificing divine providence or sovereignty by introducing the idea of “middle knowledge.” In this proposal God knows [...] continue reading
