Theology Unplugged: What is the “True” Church #1
What is the “True” church?
Were BACK! And we are not happy. . . well . . . not that happy. OK, we are happy, but that is beside the point. The Pope said we are not part of the true church. What is up with that? During the this broadcast and in the weeks to follow, we will might discover what the true church is. Join us at your own peril.

Great show as always, and I think it is an important topic to be covering.
BTW, you still have the reference to the show being “from the archive” in your template.

Of course the Pope didn’t say that Protestants aren’t part of the true church. he said that Protestant bodies do not constitute true churches and the two are not the same in Catholic thought so your comments seem to miss the mark.

Yes, you are right. The issue that we are bringing up on this program ultimately will come down to in the words of a Protestant “What constitutes a valid local church.” With the Pope’s statements, Protestant churches are not valid local churches. We will talk more about this in coming programs.
Thanks for the comments!

I have been out of commission (with moving, starting school, etc), but I’m
catching up on my blog updates here. Great show. I’m looking forward to the
next one. Thanks again for all of your work you all put into this ministry.
God Bless.
