- The Jolly Blogger has some interesting things to say about teenage abstinence. What do I do? I am going to lock my girls up.Â
- A new Reformed blog that looks interesting. Theology and Steak. What a name! (HT: John Hendryx)
- Euangelion continues to pick up steam. This is the place to go for the latest news and tid-bits from me and the RMMÂ community.
- Don’t forget to enroll in The Theology Program. It starts in September. If you have yet to take an online course, you really don’t know how much you are missing. (I know. It is already on the “Latest News” on the left, but you don’t really look there now do ya?)
- Greatest super-hero villain: Joker. He is Batman’s exact opposite.
Personal:
I am in Oklahoma this week promoting The Theology Program and spending time with mom. She is not any better, but she is happy to see me. We are about to take our house off the market and settle down in Frisco once again. I am very confused about where God wants us. It seems like I should be in Oklahoma helping take care of my mother, but the doors are not open. Katelynn (my daughter) is just about all healed from her accident. The burns have left many scares on her arm and leg, but most of them are just spots. I will give some picture update of Zach soon. He is now almost 5 months. He is a clone of Will, just with blue eyes.

The Jollyblogger blog is very interesting. The point about needing younger marriages is correct but difficult. I think modern society has put young christians in a very difficult position. It is funny how we know that christians still sin (including me and you) and yet young christians are to live celibately well into their late 20′s, early 30′s these days with college and early career taking precedence. That’s over 15 years of sexual maturity that they are supposed to live perfectly without falling into sin. I can’t go one day without falling into some sin habit, but they are supposed to fight the fire for 15 years? And if they fail the article implies they did not accept the gospel and need to be evangelized.
Let’s face it, its harder to grow up christian than convert after you’ve sown the oats and settled down in marriage.
Imagine asking OT jews to live celibate lives until nearly past childbearing years!
I don’t have an answer. I doubt we will go back to marrying at 14 (ugghh). I just know it is a very difficult situation

Hmmm. Theology and Steak. Several months ago, I came up with Theology and Snack as the name for my blog. Of course, there are considerable differences; I spend a huge amount of time talking about food. And I’m not at all a Calvinist.
