Update on family

Comments 1 Comment

Once again, thank you all for your kind notes and prayers for me and my family. I thought that I would take some time to give you an update on things.

  • Kristie (my wife) is due in three weeks! Zachary Michael will hopefully come into the light without any problems sometime the end of this month. We have all been very sick for the last week or so with the flu (worst I have ever had). Kristie’s sickness has progressed into pneumonia. She is on bed-rest right now, but the anti-biotics seem to be doing their job. Please pray for her and the baby. Hopefully I will have some pictures up soon.
  • My mother is at home in Oklahoma City. My sisters and father have been adjusting to her homecoming. She has not improved as far as health, but I think that everyone is adjusting to the difficulties and life change this has brought about. I have been trying to move to OKC as many of you know, but have now taken my house off the market due to inactivity. This is very hard as I feel I need to be there to bear some of this burden and be with my family.
  • My father has received grace for his situation that was impending upon all of our lives. He has been able to take care of my mother at nights while my sister takes care of her during the day.
  • My books are all in boxes in the garage. I know, not that big of a deal, but you have to admit that it is very sad.

Again, thanks for your kindness and prayers. They mean a lot.

Michael – i am very happy to hear that Kristie is doing better and will continue to pray for you and your family for your health and for the safe arrival of “Zachary Michael.”

I am also sorry that you have not been able to be in OK with your mom and dad. I know how hard it is for you to depend on your sisters to take care of your mom, but you have done everything you can to help out and once the turmoil at home is behind you, you can get back out to OK to take care of them. God bless you and your entire family and I hope that better days
    are ahead on the horizon.

    Love Always – Cheryl

Theological Word of the Day

Eastern Orthodoxy
A tradition in Christianity that claims to represent the church the most faithfully due to its adherence to the traditions, beliefs, and practices of the early church. Though many would see the Eastern Orthodox church as simply “Catholicism without a Pope,” the Orthodox would reject such a simplified identification. Not only do they not have [...] continue reading
